Long Day at Work...Lumberjack 100
Lumberjack 100 was my last endurance race. Nothing longer than 2-3 hours from now on. At Mohican 100, I chickened out and did the kids race (62 miles). Did a JRA (just riding along) race with not too bad of a result. Then I have been sick with the flu for the following two weeks since Mohican. Little training and lots of sleep isn't usually good leading up to a 100 miler. I was going to try anyways, because no more after this.
Plan was to have another day of JRA and finish. I was able to keep my pace slow and hit my lap times pretty consistently. Overall it was a good day of riding awesome trails on my bike! What more can you ask for? Mother Nature was nice enough to even dump rain on me for the last 10 minutes or so. Thanks! Ryan even said I was smiling after I crossed the finish line. Not.
As always, a great time with the team and tons of support, never a dull moment with Adventure 212!
